Job Description
A reputable company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Van Sales Executive to manage sales operations across assigned open-market routes in Kumasi and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships, expanding market coverage, managing stock, and ensuring timely delivery of products to retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for assigned drinks and beverages.
* Conduct daily van sales operations across assigned routes.
* Follow daily route plans and maximise outlet coverage.
* Maintain regular contact with existing customers and acquire new outlets.
* Take customer orders and complete sales transactions accurately.
* Ensure customers receive the correct products and quantities.
* Manage van stock, including goods loaded, sold, returned, damaged, or remaining.
* Ensure products are available and properly displayed at retail outlets.
* Implement approved promotions, pricing initiatives, and sales schemes.
* Prepare accurate sales and stock reports.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in van sales, FMCG distribution, or beverage sales.
* Experience selling alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, or other fast-moving consumer goods is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of Kumasi’s open markets, retail outlets, wholesale channels, and surrounding trading areas.
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets and acquire new customers.
* Experience in cash handling, stock reconciliation, and daily sales reporting.
* Good numerical, communication, and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage sales routes.
* Valid driving license appropriate for the assigned sales vehicle, with a safe driving record.
