Job Purpose:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role requires creativity, speed, and a commitment to providing a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their tastes.
- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Ensure all glassware and utensils are sanitized.
- Inventory Control: Monitor bar stock, minimize waste, and inform management when supplies are low.
- Compliance: Verify the age of guests when necessary and adhere to all responsible service of alcohol laws.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible beverage service is a plus.
