Job Purpose:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the establishment. This role ensures a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for guests, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces across designated areas (rooms, lobby, restrooms, corridors, offices).
- Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and common areas to prevent the spread of germs.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas properly.
- Reporting: Inspect areas for damages, leaks, or maintenance issues and report them to the supervisor promptly.
- Supply Management: Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products in restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when encountering guests or staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial services is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and safe usage.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks (bending, lifting, standing).
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
