Job Summary:
Strategic Africa is seeking an experienced and results-driven Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing sales personnel, and driving revenue growth within the automobile industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor the performance and activities of sales personnel and provide regular feedback.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase vehicle sales.
- Follow up on leads, prospective customers, and existing clients to convert opportunities into sales.
- Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are clean, presentable, and ready for customers.
- Participate in field marketing, customer visits, promotional activities, and other sales initiatives.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, customer preferences, and pricing within the automobile industry.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate test drives and ensure vehicles are handled safely and responsibly.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions and customer information.
- Drive company vehicles when required for customer visits, vehicle movements, test drives, or other official duties.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales management, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle sales and customer relationship management.
- Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be vigilant, alert, and detail-oriented.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Professional, disciplined, honest, and customer-focused.
- Good knowledge of social media and digital sales platforms is an advantage.
