Job Description
Westel Innovations is seeking a competent and experienced Finance & Administration Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, administrative functions, budgeting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will ensure effective financial management, compliance with relevant regulations, and efficient use of organizational resources.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, financial expertise, and the capacity to develop and implement effective financial and administrative systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage annual budgets, financial plans, and expenditure forecasts.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and cash flow management.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and organisational financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
• Supervise administrative operations and ensure efficient office management.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
• Manage procurement budgets, office resources, and administrative expenditure.
• Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Supervise finance and administrative personnel and support their professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAG membership, is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in finance, accounting, and administrative management.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High levels of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
