Job Summary:
People & Partners Group Limited is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (Industrial) to join our FMCG operation in Accra. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to operational functions, managing industrial relations, union negotiations, and workforce planning within a structured manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with production, engineering, quality, warehousing, and fleet functions to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Manage industrial relations, including union negotiations and case handling.
- Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act, collective agreements, and industrial relations practices.
- Oversee workforce planning, including manning requirements, shift patterns, and production/warehouse operations.
- Provide HR guidance and support to line managers on employee relations and operational HR matters.
- Handle complex HR cases and dispute resolution professionally.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree, CHIRM Ghana, CIPD, or SHRM membership is an added advantage.
- Experience: 5 - 7 years of HR experience, with a strong preference for current or prior experience in the FMCG industry.
- Operational Experience: Proven experience partnering with production, engineering, quality, warehousing, and fleet functions in a structured organization.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act, collective agreements, and industrial relations practice.
- Core Skills: Excellent union negotiation, case-handling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical Understanding: Excellent understanding of shift patterns, manning, production, and warehouse operations.
