Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources operations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in heavy industries and will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance, and managing a diverse workforce in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent for technical and operational roles.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program, ensuring competitive positioning.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, staying updated on Nigerian labor laws.
- Manage employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Industry Background: Must have experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), Manufacturing, or Mining industries.
- Eligibility: Open to Expatriate candidates only.
- Skills: Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or relevant HR certifications like CIPD, SHRM is a plus).
