Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in HRM) from any reputable university.
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in HR or any other relevant HR certification.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, power-point).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Bangladesh labor law.
  • A passion for social impact and a desire to gain practical experience in HR.
  • Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.



Job responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Create JD and publish job ad in the HRIS.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews and conduct initial candidate assessments to expedite recruitment process.
  • Onboard new employees and provide the support they need to get inducted into the organization.
  • Maintain all the documentation from requisition to onboarding in the proper way as per organizational procedures.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions.
  • Provide all kind of supports to new hires during their initial weeks.


 
Policies and SOPs:

  • Assist with the maintenance of HR policies and processes as per the organizational guidelines.
  • Assist in drafting the HR manual, policy and procedures and reviewing periodically to keep our processes up-to-date and well-communicated.
  • Assist with the execution of the delivery of all HR practices and initiatives towards building employer brand. 



 Employee Relations:

  • Address people issue across the entire employee cycle.
  • Provide support and counselling on all employee-related matters, including disciplinary matters, policies, benefits, and others.
  • Keep the entire organization updated proactively on all HR initiatives and policies.



 Employee Engagement:

  • Assist in the implementation of employee engagement programs and celebrations to create a positive, collaborative, and effective work environment through proactive communication.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys, collate reports, and work on increasing employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure employee participation in organizational initiatives and build an employee communication and feedback loop by conducting periodic organization-wide meetings, one-on-one meetings, and feedback sessions.
  • Assist with the implementation of employee offsites, workshops, and trainings to ensure positive team spirit and bonding between employees and build a culture of collaboration within and between teams and departments.



Payroll & Benefit:

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Handle employee salary processing and data entry in SAP.
  • Support annual tax declarations and verification of investment proofs.
  • Track and manage employee benefits and HR-related reimbursements.


 
Administrative Support:

  • Handle various administrative tasks, such as document management, meeting scheduling and maintaining HR records, allowing HR Manager to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and monitor attendance and leave data and keeping HRIS updated all the time.
  • Coordinate with vendors for various administrative works, such as air ticket booking, arranging accommodation, ensure stock of pantry, office supplies, maintenance services etc.
