JOB SUMMARY
Our client in the soap/detergent manufacturing industry is seeking a Cash Van Sales Supervisor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily cash van sales, distribution, and route operations.
- Monitor achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Manage cash collections, stock loading, sales, returns, and daily reconciliations.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate Cash Van Sales Representatives, Drivers, and Assistants.
- Ensure effective outlet coverage, product availability, and customer service.
- Monitor route performance, vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and other trade customers.
- Identify and onboard new customers to expand the customer base.
- Ensure company products are properly displayed and merchandised at customer outlets.
- Handle customer complaints and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales, cash, and stock reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cash-handling procedures, safety standards, and operational controls.
- Identify and escalate cash shortages, stock variances, damages, and other operational issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in FMCG sales, distribution, van sales, or route-to-market operations.
- At least 2 years' supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG sales and distribution operations.
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales/distribution systems.
- High level of integrity, accountability, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven, field-based environment.
