Job Summary:
Four Points by Sheraton Accra Kotoka Airport is looking for a proactive and organized Events Sales Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving event sales, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the seamless execution of events and functions hosted at the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming event inquiries (corporate meetings, weddings, social events) promptly and professionally.
- Conduct site inspections and tours of the hotel’s event spaces for prospective clients.
- Prepare and present event proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Food & Beverage, Banquet Operations, AV, and Kitchen) to ensure event details are executed flawlessly.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting for new business to meet sales targets.
- Manage event databases, track sales activities, and prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Ensure all billing and payment processes for events are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related customer service role.
- Personality: Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
