A leading microfinance company in Ghana is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead its people function. The successful candidate will develop and implement HR strategies, build a strong workplace culture, and ensure that HR practices support the company’s growth and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- * Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- * Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and talent development.
- * Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
- * Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labor laws and manage employee relations.
- * Drive employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Requirements and Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- * At least five years of HR experience, including a minimum of three years in a managerial position.
- * Professional certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or IHRM will be an added advantage.
- * Experience in financial services or branch-based operations is preferred.
- * Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices.
- * Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
