Job Description
Strategic Jobs Africa is seeking a commercially minded Investor Relations and Fleet Development Manager to attract investors, develop investment proposals, manage investor relationships, and support the expansion of a ride-hailing fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and acquire potential investors.
- Prepare and present investment proposals suited to the Ghanaian market.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of investors to support fleet expansion.
- Coordinate the onboarding of vehicles and investors.
- Verify vehicle documentation, DVLA registration, insurance, and mechanical condition.
- Monitor vehicle and investor pipelines against fleet growth targets.
- Serve as the main contact for fleet investors and respond to their enquiries.
- Prepare financial reports, performance statements, and investor updates.
- Monitor driver earnings, maintenance costs, platform commissions, and net returns.
- Manage contract renewals, profit-sharing payments, and investor account updates.
- Develop investor payout models, risk-sharing frameworks, and incentives.
- Analyze local market conditions and provide business recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in business development, account management, sales, investor relations, or a related area.
- Experience in transport, logistics, fintech, asset management, or banking is preferred.
- Strong financial literacy and knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Knowledge of ride-hailing platforms such as Bolt, Yango, or Uber.
- Understanding of DVLA requirements, vehicle management, insurance, and fleet operations.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
