Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime by ensuring all electrical infrastructure runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, control panels, and lighting systems.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Adhere strictly to electrical codes, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Respond quickly to emergency electrical breakdowns as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2–5 years) as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring, and control systems (PLC knowledge is a plus).
- Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools safely.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and dexterity required for the role.
