Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Technician to join our client’s technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and execute timely repairs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machine reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
