Job Summary
A reputable company is seeking a Trainee Technical Engineer to join its Technical/Service team. The successful candidate will support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of printers, multifunction printers (MFPs), and other document solution equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or an individual with limited technical experience who is interested in developing a career in technical engineering and equipment servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and setup of printers, MFPs, and related equipment.
- Support senior engineers with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Assist with the replacement of toner, spare parts, and other components.
- Accompany senior engineers on customer service visits and technical assignments.
- Follow established service procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and equipment status.
- Ensure tools and technical equipment are properly maintained and kept in good condition.
- Develop technical knowledge of Kyocera and other document solution equipment.
- Provide professional, courteous, and timely support to customers.
Requirements
- Diploma, HND, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Basic technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical technical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability and willingness to work at customer locations.
- A valid driving licence is an advantage.
