Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques to fabricate or repair structures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut, and align metal components accurately.
- Operate welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc) to join metal parts.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a workshop or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and use of hand/power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Certification in welding (e.g., NVTI, City & Guilds) is an advantage.
- Strong focus on safety and quality control.
