Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to safely move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse and yard. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and efficiency while handling goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, stack goods, and move materials to designated areas.
- Perform pre-operational checks on the forklift and report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure loads are secure and safe for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols for equipment operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (e.g., NVTI or equivalent).
- Proven experience (2+ years) operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Excellent safety record and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts, including Saturdays.
