JOB SUMMARY
The Argon Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using argon/TIG welding equipment, while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform argon/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals.
- Read and follow drawings, measurements, and welding specifications.
- Prepare, cut, fit, and assemble metal parts before welding.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure proper quality and finishing.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Identify and correct welding defects where necessary. of stock.
- Prepare regular stock and inventory reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical/Vocational qualification in Welding or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in argon/TIG welding.
- Ability to work with stainless steel and aluminium.
- Good knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
