Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Bender to cut, bend, and shape steel bars and rods according to project specifications. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of construction safety and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and bend steel bars and rods using manual and mechanical tools.
- Tie and assemble rebar cages for concrete structures.
- Ensure all steelwork meets structural quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and safely operate steel bending and cutting equipment.
- Follow strict workplace safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Steel Bender & valid license/certificate.
- Workplace safety skills & strong safety commitment.
- Physically fit & must have basic site knowledge.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ghanaian national/operator.
